Choozle, a programmatic advertising platform that connects marketers with big data insights and real-time bidding across display, social, mobile and video, announced today it had been selected as a winner for Red Herring’s Top 100 North America award, a distinguished list that has been honoring the world’s most promising and disruptive technology companies. Vetted and selected by a panel of Red Herring experts who have been analyzing the potential of tech ventures since 1995, winners undergo a rigorous three-step process that evaluates each company on quantitative and qualitative criteria from financial performance to proof of concept. Winners were announced at special Red Herring 100 North America awards ceremony on Wednesday evening, June 8, at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa.
Red Herring’s editorial staff evaluated companies on 20 diverse criteria that include financial performance, technological innovation and intellectual property, management quality, business model, customer footprint and market penetration. This assessment of potential is complemented by a review of the track record and standing of startups relative to their sector peers, allowing Red Herring to see past the “buzz” and make the list a valuable instrument of discovery and advocacy for the most promising new business models in North America.
Choozle joins a list of acclaimed Red Herring honorees that have gone on to change the way we live and work including Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Skype, Salesforce.com, YouTube, Marin Software, Palo Alto Networks, and eBay, among others.
Earlier this year, Choozle was recognized as one of the top Best Places to Work in Colorado by the Denver Business Journal, a finalist in Colorado Companies to Watch awards, and #1 Fastest Growing Private Company in America by The Globee Awards and SVUS Awards.
